After the successful implementation of PROCE55 Warehouse WMS system, Miele technika Uničov production plant launched also production lines supply according to JIT (Just-In-Sequence) sequences into productive operation. PROCE55 Logistics Scheduling solution is integrated with the SAP system and also uses mobile devices.

April 2016

Nobel Automotive Slovakia introduced PROCE55 system for production confirmation and performance measurement based on OEE on 3 lines. The solution also eliminates operator errors during production confirmation and checks compliance with technological process. It is integrated with weighing systems and was delivered within 2 months. Nobel is a major manufacturer of plastic pipes for fuel, cooling and brake systems and uses the SAP economic system.

February 2016

ArcelorMittal Gonvarri SSC, a major steel processing service center, decided to implement PROCE55 OEE-based performance measurement system and maintenance management system based on PROCE55 Maintenance. The solution will be used by all 5 production lines, including online data collection from production lines. It will be integrated with the corporate production system and the SAP economic system.

December 2015

After the successful deployment of PROCE55 Manufacturing MES system on the 2 most important production lines, Fatra decided to expand the system to another 5 production lines. Fatra is one of Europe's largest plastics processors. The solution will be delivered during the first half of 2016. It will collect data from lines online and will be integrated with the SAP system. The solution includes production confirmation, label printing, finished products weighing and performance measurement, including OEE calculation and material balance.

April 2015

East-Gate created a mobile quality assurance application for Embraco. The solution enables classification of CTQ (Critical To Quality), rework and scrap. The application also manages inter-operational assurance and records measured data from measuring points based on quality assurance plans. This data is then automatically exported to the group's SPC (Statistical Process Control) system. The application runs on Windows Mobile and Android mobile devices. Among other things, the delivered solution eliminated paper forms and errors occurring during data transcription from forms into the system. The solution is online integrated with SAP QM as well as Infinity systems.

East-Gate provided the Korean automotive plastic manufacturer Hanwha Advanced Materials Europe with MES and WMS system, based on PROCE55 Manufacturing and PROCE55 Warehouse applications.

The solution covers production confirmation, traceability, introduction of bar codes for material movement control, FIFO, batch management, label printing and dispatch. Using the system, Hanwha successfully passed customer audits from major German car manufacturers.

The solution was implemented within 5 months and is integrated with the Czech K2 system. In the next period, integration with the SAP group system is planned.

Due to the constant need to increase productivity, Matador Automotive decided to introduce production monitoring and OEE measurement on 3 heavy presses, which are key production facilities and at the same time bottlenecks in production.

East-Gate won the international tender and implemented PROCE55 OEE solution at Vráble plant within 2 months, including technologies for online data collection from machines. The solution uses PROCE55 EWS warning system, which warns of unplanned downtime of presses, loss of performance, maintenance and logistics requirements, etc., via SMS, emails and warning lights. This has been proven to help increase productivity. The solution is connected to PROCE55 Confirmation application for production confirmation from East-Gate, which Matador Automotive have been using since 2011. This significantly simplifies the work of operators. The system is online integrated with the SAP ERP system.

Ivan Gallo, the founder of East-Gate, held a presentation at International Maintenance Congress ÖVIA 2014 - Maintenance is changing - Challenges and Solutions in the age of 4.0 INDUSTRY in Vienna. Among other speakers were representatives of academia, the Fraunhofer Institute, Lufthansa, SAP, mainly from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. TÜV Rheinland institute published a book Instandhaltung im Wandel, including the article of Ivan Gallo.

Embraco, the world leader in the manufacture of hermetic compressors, have introduced a mobile quality data collection at Spišská Nová Ves plant. The solution uses PROCE55 Mobile platform and replaced the previously used paper forms. The quality control operators record the measured parameters of the production process through mobile terminals. Once the mobile network availability is detected, measured values are automatically transferred to Infinity, concern quality control system, where are subsequently evaluated (including SPC - Statistical Process Control). In addition to mobile data collection, Embraco uses also other PROCE55 applications, including warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode printing for suppliers and production supply in Kanban mode.

Fatra, a.s. Napajedla, a major global processor of plastics belonging to the Agrofert group, implements MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and WMS (Warehouse Management System) systems. The solution is based on PROCE55 Manufacturing, Warehouse and OEE applications. The project includes the supply of Simatic control systems to collect data from production lines and SATEC scaling systems. The goal of the project is to identify reserves, increase productivity and ensure traceability. The solution is integrated with the SAP ERP system, which is used at Fatra for business operations control. Productive operation launch is scheduled for the beginning of 2015.

East-Gate implements the WMS project for Miele Uničov, manufacturer of highest class washing machines, dryers and dishwashers, which is a part of the German multinational group. The project is based on the pre-configured PROCE55 Warehouse application and the productive operation launch is planned in the period of 3 months. The solution will be connected with a semi-automated warehouse system Toyota and the PROCE55 solution will be used also in the warehouses operated by external companies. The project also includes production supply according to references, as well as Kanban and Milk-run. Miele uses the SAP economic system.

June 2014

The online production confirmation project at the Slovak plant of the world's largest compressor manufacturer Embraco, which is part of the American corporation Whirlpool, is being implemented by East-Gate. The solution, which replaces the legacy group application, will be used on several production lines. It will record batches and serial numbers of mass-produced compressors through bar codes and link them to production orders and packaging. This will ensure full traceability, which is a key requirement for Embraco customers. The solution is integrated with SAP.

East-Gate have implemented a solution at the Austrian plant (in Deutschlandsberg) of the Japanese company TDK that seamlessly integrates professional quality management system Infinity with the SAP system. TDK uses Infinity to evaluate the process quality parameters. PROCE55 connects them through virtual orders with production orders maintained in SAP. This solves the typical problem of business objects not complying with the process requirements for quality monitoring. Therefore, companies deploy professional systems for quality control, which also includes SPC (Statistical Process Control). However, they usually do not solve the integration of relevant objects in the economic software.

PROCE55 EPR (Electronic Purchase Requisition) solution for electronic entry and EPR approval was extended by functionality of automated sending of approved orders to suppliers. The first phase of the approval workflow cycle, which enables automated creation of purchase orders in SAP, was enhanced by automatic generating of documents - orders and their subsequent delivery. Relevant electronic signatures of authorized persons will be integrated in the process of document creating. There is also a possibility of SAP archive integration. Subsequently, the order is automatically sent to suppliers via fax or email server. The solution is being used by Magna automotive group and tested by TDK electronics group at four production plants in Western Europe.

Japanese KYB Manufacturing, the world's largest manufacturer of automotive shock absorbers,  decided to use PROCE55 Maintenance to manage the maintenance at two factories in the Czech Republic. The solution will be integrated with the MFG/Pro ERP system, and the launch into productive operation is planned in the summer of 2014. Among major KYB clients belong Kolín based Czech car manufacturer TPCA, Suzuki and Renault. The portfolio also includes spare parts production for the whole of Europe.

The international system integrator Atos became a partner of East-Gate. Atos is interested to use PROCE55 in their projects to automate business processes and integrate systems, especially in manufacturing, logistics and maintenance. The international IT group Atos has more than 76.000 employees worldwide with revenues of 8.8 billion EUR.

October 2013

The functionality of PROCE55 Maintenance has been extended by management, control and planning of spare parts including their warehouse management. Management of spare parts is often not maintained in SAP even in international concerns and therefore East-Gate have developed the related functionality in context of the SAP PM module. Within the PROCE55 Maintenance it interconnects the automatic scheduling of maintenance orders with material requirements planning (MRP) of spare parts. The MRP outputs (requirements of spare parts) are then transferred to SAP, where purchase orders are created.

East-Gate have successfully completed the evaluation of Asset Utilization pilot solution at the Indonesian plant of the Japanese electronics group TDK. Among the most interesting features of the project belongs its possibility of both manual and automatic data collection (if the production line is equipped with the appropriate interface) and also it enables switching between these modes. The solution allows navigation on different levels of aggregation and data display from a management dashboard to detailed analyzes of the downtime causes. OEE data is automatically collected in PROCE55 through MES controller device.

East-Gate have delivered the extension of the foil warehouse management core processes for the Austrian TDK plant. The solution was implemented according to the specific requirements of TDK. Since the SAP by default does not cover material management beyond the batch level, the processes were automated in PROCE55 Manufacturing. The solution is online integrated with SAP.
