Hanwha Advanced Materials Europe is a part of an international group Hanwha headquartered in Seoul, South Korea, and has production facilities worldwide.

The company is focusing mainly on the production of plastic parts for the automotive industry and the production of EPP granulate (expanded polypropylene) for further processing on more than 10 lines.

Plastic parts are made out of both GMT - Glass Mat Thermoplastics composite material (glass + polypropylene), and EPP expanded polypropylene. To Its customers belong the world's major automakers, including Mercedes and BMW.

In the Czech Republic Hanwha uses PROCE55 applications for logistics and production control to ensure the full traceability. The solution also covers the barcode and mobile terminal based controlled warehouses, batch tracking, FIFO based management, production confirmation and shipping. Hanwha also uses PROCE55 SupplierPortal for printing the supplier labels, order status registration (order, quantity and deadline confirmation, etc.).

The solution is connected to the K2 ERP system. SAP integration is planned at a later stage. The system integration and technology supply is ensured by Ness Czech.
